At KONE, we are fostering in a culture where safety is seen as everyone’s right and responsibility, no matter what the role is; we all are empowered and expected to speak up any safety concerns, whether it’s a physical or psychological one. We want our employees, partners and users of our equipment to return home safe every day.
Each year KONE organizes a global safety week. As part of the week this year, we would like to invite you to discuss about psychological safety at work.
The links between psychological safety, employee trust, engagement, physical safety and leaders’ role in creating a culture which fosters innovation and creativity. We’ll also share some insight on KONE’s diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) journey and how psychological safety is linked to it.
KONE’s Jaana Niemi (Head of Shared R&D Services), Satu Virkkunen (Head of Sustainability R&D) and Leena Lehti (Head of Rellab Europe) share their stories and learnings about the psychological safety in a panel discussion.
