Welcome to the Women in Tech Breakfast Date at EY House in Helsinki on February 1st

We are closing in on the era of quantum! The progress of quantum computers has accelerated, and it is likely we will use quantum computers within 5-10 years from now. The entrance of quantum computers is anticipated to disrupt both businesses and whole sectors with an ambitious drive for speed, scale and quality. Quantum’s development in power, availability and stability is expected to be exponential but what are the strengths of a quantum computer and how can we use it today – and in the future? 

Breakfast will be served at 8.30, and the hour-long program starts at 9. During the presentation we will have time for a Q&As to share knowledge and insights.

Please note that the number of seats is limited to 50 people so please register your interest as soon as possible.

Sofia works as an Associated Partner at EY Cybersecurity Sweden. She focuses on cybersecurity strategy and governance and dedicates her time to support the Nordic region on Quantum Computing. Sofia has a background as a CISO and a career as a researcher within biophysics.

“When I did my PhD within Biophysics – Quantum Computers was considered the ultimate goal for our research, never did I expect to live during the era of quantum computers. But now the future is here, and we truly see the potential QCs. I am so happy to share some of my passion and deliverables of EY Quantum Computing capabilities.”  Sofia Burendahl

Sara is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with many years of experience in protecting the national security and critical infrastructure both as an SME and program lead. Her background is in information systems science and cybersecurity.

Welcome to break down stereotypes around coding, learn about programming languages and logic of coding together with Hive Helsinki & Women in Tech Finland!

Hive Helsinki is a free coding school that preps you to launch your future-proofed career. There are no teachers, lectures, or books at Hive. Instead, you learn coding together with other students and work on practical, real-life projects. No previous coding experience or qualifications are required.

Coding is a high demand skill with endless possiblities. Our higher-education level studies are designed to unlock your potential, whether you aspire to work in top tech companies, solve big problems in the world or create your own products and services.

Goal of the event: Break the stereotypes around coding, encourage more women to consider a career as a programmer, and introduce Hive Helsinki as an option for launching a future-proofed career as a coder.
