Noora has 19 years of experience in Nokia Mobile Infrastructure and currently works as Head of Change for Radio Networks R&D and as Head of Nokia Espoo Technology Center. She leads the global transformation of RAN R&D to AI-native era, drives governance, communications, and organizational development while serving as an operational advisor, and heads the development of Nokia headquarters. A proven leader in global transformation programs, Noora fosters openness, fun at work, and positive leadership. She champions simplicity in tough times and is a strong advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) through sponsorship and daily actions. Her motto is: Never settle. “I make things happen and expect the same from people around me.”

Niko Lalu – Senior Vice President, Radio Networks R&D, Mobile Infrastructure, Nokia 

With 30 years of successful experience in leading Nokia R&D teams and currently leads Radio Networks R&D in Nokia Mobile Infrastructure. His team is responsible for RAN R&D and the delivery of RAN system releases to our customers.

Harri Holma - Bell Labs Fellow, Senior Advisor, Nokia Radio Networks Technology & AI 

Harri Holma acts as Senior advisor in Nokia for guiding the company technology development for mobile networks. Harri is an influential expert also externally with frequent connections to mobile operator executives globally. Harri provides public presentations, co-operates with regulators and universities, and shares the latest learnings in LinkedIn with more than 8000 followers.

Merja Hemmi - Head of AI Acceleration, Nokia Radio Networks R&D

Merja Hemmi is Head of AI Acceleration in Nokia’s Radio Networks R&D, where she leads the transformation of a global engineering organization toward AI-native ways of working. Her focus is on turning AI strategy into measurable business impact—from faster time-to-market and higher productivity to stronger product quality—while aligning people, technology, governance, and execution across R&D.

Drawing on leadership experience across services, product management, and R&D, Merja has built her career by stepping into complex challenges, connecting diverse perspectives, and turning emerging technologies into practical outcomes.

Päivyt Tallqvist - Senior Vice President, Communications, Finnair

Päivyt is the SVP for Communications at Finnair, Finland’s flag carrier, and together with her team, is responsible for employee communications, media relations, social media presence, and customer communications development for Finnair. Prior to her current role, she worked in various internal and external communications roles in Nokia. Having started her communications career in 1999 in Nokia Telecommunications, the network business will always have a special place in her heart.   

Ingrid Viitanen - General Counsel, Tech, AI & Corporate Development, Nokia

As head of the legal teams supporting Nokia’s Tech & AI and Corporate Development functions, Ingrid works where technology strategy meets corporate strategy. She began her career in law firms in Australia and Japan, before moving in-house here at Nokia, to be closer to the innovation and decision-making that shape the business. Ingrid enjoys bridging the gap between legal and technical teams and believes that the best ideas emerge from teams of great minds with different perspectives.
